"Hello, Changemakers. Welcome to Design for Change’s CANnect Voices magazine! This issue will be our first inaugural publication! The main purpose of this magazine is to amplify, empower, and celebrate youth voices through storytelling, raising awareness, and collaboration! We, youth, always have something to say, but too often, no one listens. So, this magazine is created as an educational platform for youth to express themselves and be inspired freely. Every story and column here comes from a youth for the youth. They are written by youth who are willing to be bold, willing to be honest, and willing to share their culture, their experience, and their change. Every page in this magazine is proof that youth voice not only matters, but it's already here. Welcome to CANnect Voices."
